WHERE IS THE ANTHONY JOSHUA V JAKE PAUL FIGHT?

The big fight is scheduled to take place in Miami, Florida, USA at the Kaseya Center. The arena is the home of NBA side Miami Heat, and has a capacity of 19,600.

HOW MANY ROUNDS WILL ANTHONY JOSHUA V JAKE PAUL BE?

The bout is scheduled for eight three-minute rounds, although few if anyone expects it go anywhere near the distance.

ANTHONY JOSHUA BOXING RECORD

Great Britain's Joshua, now 36 years old, is a former two-time world heavyweight champion, having held the unified title between 2017-19, and 2019-21. He also won Olympic gold in 2012 before turning professional. From a total of 32 professional bouts, Joshua has 28 wins including 25 knockouts, and four defeats - once to Andy Ruiz and Daniel Dubois, and two defeats against modern great and reigning champion Oleksandr Usyk.

Joshua's resume is considered to be one of the best in modern heavyweight history with 'AJ' holding impressive wins over the likes of Wladimir Klitschko, Alexander Povetkin, Andy Ruiz, Joseph Parker, Kubrat Pulev, Dillian Whyte and Otto Wallin.

In a similar event to this one, AJ also took on former UFC heavyweight king Francis Ngannou in a 'crossover' bout, and the Brit delivered a crushing 2nd-round knockout - something many expect to be repeated here.

In terms of boxing pedigree, this statistic is a no-contest in Joshua's favour.

JAKE PAUL BOXING RECORD

USA's Paul has been a somewhat controversial and polarising figure in the sport, with many still heavily questioning his boxing record and credentials ahead of a fight with an opponent of Joshua's calibre. Former Disney and YouTube star Paul made his transition into boxing during the early 'Misfits' influencer boxing era, with his first two bouts coming against a fellow YouTuber and a former basketball player.

Paul then scored a knockout against former UFC fighter Ben Askren in his first high-profile bout, and followed this by securing two wins over former UFC Welterweight Champion Tyron Woodley and former UFC Middleweight great Anderson Silva, although many questions were asked in relation to the age of Paul's opponents, with Silva being 47 years old and far removed from his fighting pomp.

'The Problem Child' then suffered his lone career defeat to Tyson Fury's cousin Tommy Fury, but rebounded with wins over former UFC fighters Nate Diaz and Mike Perry, as well as his highest profile victories against a 58-year-old Mike Tyson and a decision victory over Mexico's Julio Cesar Chavez, Jr in his most recent fight.

Taking on a former heavyweight champion, and arguably still current contender, is surely Paul's biggest and most dangerous challenge yet.

How much is AJ getting to fight Jake Paul?

'Jake v Joshua' is expected to be one of the most lucrative boxing events in history, with the purse having reported to be a huge $184 million. It is believed that Joshua could be set to land a bumper $92 million (£69.9 million).

Other estimates suggest the fight is worth $150 million in total expected value, with both fighters guaranteed a minimum of $50 million each, plus various bonuses.

While it may take some time for reliable figures to be released, one thing is for sure - this event is sure to be one of the richest in a long line of gargantuan financial events in the sport.
